Power Pull Down Latch to Actuator Striker Alignment
Correct adjustment procedures for the power pull down latch is described in the 1984 Car Shop Manual "A" and "B" Section 44-41; However, if
continuous latch cycling occurs inspect the alignment of the latch to the actuator striker to assure proper switch contact and shut off. Continuous cycling
of the power latch is usually caused by misalignment of the latch striker. Figure 6 indicates correct alignment of the latch and actuator striker.
