NOTE:

If the wear indicator attaching rivet forces the inner (closest to rotor) clip finger toward the rotor, flatten the rivet to eliminate interference to
the clip.

a)

Position the anti-rattle clip over the outer brake shoe and wear indicator so that the open ends (fingers) of the clip face upward and toward the
caliper locating pin.

b)

With the clip straddling the brake shoe, position the closed end of the clip against the caliper housing.

c)

Push down on the open ends of the clip (fingers) to snap the clip into position over the caliper locating pin.
