BINDS DURING OPERATION
LINCOLN-MERCURY:

ISSUE:
The cupholder and/or ashtray may bind during operation. This may be caused by the wood finish panel not being fully seated into the console.
ACTION:
Properly seat the wood finish panel. This should reduce the possibility of the cupholder and/or ashtray binding during operation. Refer to the following
text for details.
If the cupholder does not open/close correctly, press down firmly on the rear edge of the wood finish panel at Point "A" (Figure 1) to make sure it is fully
seated.
If the ashtray does not open/close correctly, press down firmly on the front edge of the wood finish panel at Point "B" (Figure 1) to make sure it is fully
seated.
