13. Position one of two slots on piston so it will engage nib on rear of disc pad when caliper is installed.
14. Install caliper assembly on vehicle.
Removal and Installation
WARNING: On models with anti-lock brakes, the brake system power booster must be depressurized before disconnecting any hydraulic lines
or fittings. Depressurize the system by pumping the brake pedal a minimum of 25 times with the ignition in the Off position.
CAUTION: Turn air suspension switch OFF before raising car.
REMOVAL
1. Raise and support rear of vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
2. Disconnect brake hose from caliper assembly.
3. Remove retaining clip, then disconnect parking brake cable from lever arm.
4. Using open end wrench to hold slider pin in position, remove pinch bolts.
5. Lift caliper assembly from anchor plate, then remove slider pins and boots.
INSTALLATION
1. Apply suitable silicone dielectric compound to slider pins and inside of boots.
