2. Install a new retainer ring on one side of the piston pin bore.
3. Gradually heat the piston to approximately 100° C (212° F).

4. Position the piston pin in the bore aligned with the connecting rod bore.

NOTE:  The connecting rod can be installed in either direction.

5. Use the Piston Pin Tool to press the piston pin into the piston and the connecting rod until the pin hits retaining ring.

6. Install a new retainer ring on the other side of the piston pin bore.
7. After assembly, make sure the connecting rod swings smoothly on the connecting rod pin.
