Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair
Installation
1. Lubricate the engine front cover and the front oil seal inner lip.

Use clean engine oil meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C153-G.
2. Use the Crankshaft Seal Replacer/Cover Aligner to install the crankshaft front seal into the engine front cover.
3. Install the crankshaft damper.
