Continental V8-4.6L DOHC VIN V (1998)
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.

Lubricate the O-ring seals with PAG YN-12b refrigerant oil, F2AZ-19577-AB or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.

Lubricate the heater cores with Rubber Suspension Insulator Lube E25Y-19553-A or equivalent meeting Ford Specification ESF-M99B112-A.
Windshield Defroster Door
REMOVAL
1. Remove the instrument panel.
2. Remove the vacuum harness and remove the screws.
3. Rotate the vacuum control motor and remove the vacuum control motor.
CAUTION: Do not attempt to bend any part of the vacuum control motor lever. It is brittle and will break.
