Continental V8-4.6L DOHC VIN V (1998)
8. Turn the tool handle clockwise to expand the tool tip inside of the shaft seal.
9. Pull the seal from the A/C compressor.
INSTALLATION
1. Clean the A/C compressor nose area.
CAUTION: Do not allow dirt or other foreign materials to enter the A/C compressor.
2. Place the shaft seal on the Shaft Seal Protector. Lubricate the shaft seal and the Shaft Seal Protector with PAG YN-12b refrigerant oil,
F2AZ-19577-AB or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
3. Position the shaft seal and the Shaft Seal Protector over the A/C compressor shaft.
