Continental V8-4.6L DOHC VIN V (1998)
6. Rotate the vacuum control motor and remove the vacuum control motor, if equipped.
CAUTION: Do not attempt to bend any part of the A/C damper door shaft. It is brittle and will break.
7. Remove the eight screws and separate the heater air plenum chamber.
8. Depress the locking ramp and remove the pivot shaft from the windshield defroster door.
