EGR Valve: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
2. Remove the throttle linkage cover.

Remove the screw.

Remove the pushpin.
3. Disconnect the vacuum hose and the EGR valve-to-exhaust manifold tube from EGR valve.
4. Remove the bolts from the EGR valve.
5. Remove the EGR valve.

Remove the EGR valve from the vehicle.

Remove the EGR valve gasket.
6. Inspect the EGR valve for blockage or contamination and vacuum leaks.
