Fuel Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect the main wiring.
2. Perform the fuel pressure release procedure.  See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Filter/Fuel Pressure Release

3. Disconnect the fuel temperature sensor.
4. Disconnect the spring lock coupling.

Remove the fuel temperature sensor.

5. Inspect the O-ring and replace as required.

INSTALLATION 

CAUTION:  Never use silicone grease, it will clog the fuel temperature sensor. Lubricate the O-rings with clean engine oil meeting Ford specification 
WSS-M2C153-G.

1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order
