REMOVAL
NOTE: Semi-active suspension system shown; passive system similar.
1. Turn the air suspension service switch off.
WARNING: The electrical power to the air suspension system must be shut off prior to hoisting, jacking or towing an air suspension
vehicle. This can be accomplished by turning off the air suspension switch located in the RH kick panel area. Failure to do so can result in
unexpected inflation or deflation of the rear air springs, which can result in shifting of the vehicle during these operations.
2. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
3. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
4. If equipped, disconnect the air suspension height sensor from the front air suspension sensor pin.
5. Remove the nut and the washer from the front suspension lower arm strut.
6. Remove and discard the front suspension lower arm-to-ball joint nut.
