Fluid Line/Hose: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

CAUTION:  Do not attempt to separate the fluid cooler inlet tube and the fluid cooler tube from the transaxle fittings by prying with a tool. Damage
to the fluid cooler inlet tube or the fluid cooler tube or fittings will result.

1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.

2. Remove the retaining clip from the transaxle fittings,

3. Depress the tabs on the plastic insert retainer.

Pull the lower tube from the transaxle fitting.

Remove the lower fittings from the transaxle.

NOTE:  No disconnect tool is required to remove the lower fluid cooler tube.
