22. Remove the main pump assembly and the main control valve body by carefully sliding it off the pump shaft.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the pump assembly and main control valve body onto the pump shaft.
2. Rotate the pump assembly and main control valve body to connect the manual valve link with the manual valve.
NOTE: The anti-lock brake hydraulic modulator will not allow sufficient clearance to rotate the main control valve body. The manual valve will
need to be removed from the main control valve body and then reinstalled to properly install the main control valve body. Rotate the crankshaft to
obtain the correct engagement of the pump and the pump shaft.
3. Use the valve body guide pins to install the pump assembly and main control valve body. Install retaining bolt.
CAUTION: Do not use the bolts to draw pump assembly and main control valve body onto the chain cover case. Component damage may occur.
4. Install the transaxle wire harness the retaining clip into the separator plate.
