6. Install the front wheel driveshaft joint boot clamp.

Install the front wheel driveshaft joint boot clamps as tight as possible by hand.
NOTE: Make sure the front wheel driveshaft joint boot is seated in its groove.
7. Using the CV Boot Clamp Tool, tighten the front wheel driveshaft joint boot clamp.

Position the CV Boot Clamp Tool on the clamp ear and tighten the tool through bolt until the tool is in the closed position.
8. Work the CV joint through its full range of travel at various angles. The joint should flex, extend and compress smoothly.
