13. Rotate the inner race up and out of the cage.

ASSEMBLY 

1. Install the inner race in the bearing cage.

NOTE:  Apply a light coating of grease on the inner and outer ball races.

2. Install the inner race and cage assembly in the outer race.

The chamfer in the inner race must face upward after the assembly is installed in the outer race.

CAUTION:  Use only Ford High Temp Constant Velocity Joint Grease E43Z-19590-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification
ESP-M1C207-A.

3. Install the inner and outer race assembly.

Install the assembly vertically and pivot 90 degrees into position.

4. Align the bearing cage and inner race with the outer race. Tilt the inner race and cage and install the balls.
