13. Fill the inboard CV joint housing with grease. Spread the remaining grease evenly inside the front wheel driveshaft joint boot.
NOTE: Use Ford High Temp Constant Velocity Joint Grease E43Z-19590-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESP-M1C207-A.
14. Install the front wheel driveshaft joint on the interconnecting shaft.
NOTE: Tap the front wheel driveshaft joint onto the interconnecting shaft using a plastic-tipped hammer. The CV joint is fully seated when the
circlip locks in the groove cut into the CV joint inner race. Check the circlip seating by attempting to pull the joint from the shaft.
15. Position the front wheel driveshaft joint boot over the front wheel driveshaft joint.
NOTE: Remove all excess grease from the CV joint external surfaces and the mating surface of the front wheel driveshaft joint boot.
16. Install the front wheel driveshaft joint boot clamp.

Install the front wheel driveshaft joint boot clamp as tight as possible by hand.
NOTE: Make sure the front wheel driveshaft joint boot is seated in its groove.
