5. Remove the nut and the theft shield.

6. For driver door only, disconnect the door lock cylinder actuating rod.

7. For driver and passenger front door, release the clip and disconnect the exterior door handle actuator rod.

If equipped, disconnect the door lock cylinder switch electrical connector.

8. Disconnect the electrical connector.
