4. Remove the components in the order indicated in the illustration and table.
Item 2: Retainer Pin Removal Note
1. Position the glass to access the rear glass two-part retainer.
2. Using a suitable tool, remove the center portion of the retainer pin and then the outer portion of the retainer pin.
Item 3: Rear Door Window Glass Removal Note
1. If the glass is to be removed, remove the interior and exterior weatherstrips.
Item 5: Rear Door Inner Module Assembly Removal Note
1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Position the module aside to access the rear window regulator.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Item 2: Retainer Pin Installation Note
1. NOTE: Prior to attaching the window to the regulator, reinstall the outer and center portions of the retainer pin into the rear door window glass.
The retainer pin should protrude an equal distance on both sides of the window glass.
Install the retainer pin into the rear door window glass.
2. Operate the rear door window regulator to the full up position until an audible click is heard when the retaining pin is engaged with the regulator.
3. Operate the rear door window glass and regulator for correct operation.
