RENTAL CARS
If a replacement wheel must be ordered Ford Motor Company will pay for a rental vehicle for up to two days. Fuel and insurance will be at owner's
expense. To claim for a rental vehicle enter the word "RENTAL" plus the number of days the vehicle was used in the Miscellaneous Expense area of the
recall claim form.

Parts will not be direct shipped for this recall. Order your parts requirements through normal order processing channels. Emergency status orders can be
placed by calling the Special Service Support Center at 1-800-325-5621 for the first 30 days after FSA program launch.

PARTS RETENTION
MANDATORY: Return all wheels with heat treat lot number B1706 to Warranty Parts and Return Center, 15090 Commerce Drive North, Dearborn, MI
48120. Follow normal shipping instructions described in Warranty and Policy manual.

EXCESS STOCK RETURN
Excess stock returned for credit must have been purchased from Ford Customer Service Division in accordance with Policy Procedure Bulletin 4000.

OVERVIEW
This procedure involves the removal of all four (4) chrome wheel and tire assemblies to check the heat treat (HI) lot code on the wheel. The code is
located on the back of the third spoke counter-clockwise from the valve stem when viewing the wheel from the inside. Wheels with the heat treat lot code
