17. Attach the restraint system diagnostic tool to the vehicle harness side of the passenger air bag module electrical connector.
Vehicles with side air curtains
NOTE: If the headliner has the word "AIRBAG" embossed on it near each B-pillar, the vehicle is equipped with side air curtain modules.
18. Remove the A-pillar trim panel.
19. Disconnect the passenger side air curtain module electrical connector.
20. Attach the restraint system diagnostic tool to the vehicle harness side of the passenger side air curtain module electrical connector.

21. From under the passenger seat, release the tab and disconnect the passenger seat side air bag or passenger seat side thorax air bag electrical
