13. Attach the restraint system diagnostic tool to the vehicle harness side of the driver side air curtain module electrical connector.

14. Remove the glove compartment.
15. NOTE:

The inset view of the illustration is looking up into the instrument panel from underneath.

The passenger air bag module electrical connector is located in front of the cross-car beam attached by a pin-type retainer to a bracket on the
back of the passenger air bag module.
Locate the passenger air bag module electrical connector.
16. Disconnect the passenger air bag module.

Push the passenger air bag module electrical connector together.

Push down, pivoting the electrical connector and release the electrical connector retainer.

Pull out, disconnecting the vehicle harness end of the connector from the component end.
