Drive Belt: Service and Repair

Accessory Drive Belt - 4.6L (2V) and 5.4L (3V)

Front End Accessory Drive (FEAD) - Exploded View, 4.6L (2V) And 5.4L (3V)

Removal and Installation

Vehicles equipped with a 4.6L (2V) engine 

1. Remove the engine cooling fan and shroud. For additional information, refer to Cooling System.

Vehicles equipped with a 5.4L (3V) engine 

2. Remove the air cleaner intake pipe. For additional information, refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.

All vehicles 

3. Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise and remove the accessory drive belt.
