Removal and Installation

1. Remove the rear door trim panel.
2. Remove the rear door mounted speaker.
3. Remove the rear door interior moulding.
4. Remove the rear door watershield.
5. Secure the rear door glass in the full upward position with tape.

6. NOTE:  Some vehicles may use rivets instead of rear door window glass-to-regulator assembly bolts.

Remove the rear door window glass-to-regulator assembly bolts.

To install, tighten to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft).

7. Disconnect the rear door window motor electrical connector.
8. Remove the rear door window regulator assembly bolts.

To install, tighten to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft).

9. Remove the rear door window regulator assembly.

10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
