Repeat Step 13* key release cable control function test. If satisfactory, reinstall console top trim, gearshift lever knob, and bezel, and release
vehicle. If unsatisfactory, replace the key release cable assembly with one of the new design level (E4LY-3F684-B). Refer to Attachments A and B
for ignition lock cable removal and installation procedures. Repeat the Step 13* functional check and if OK release the vehicle.
