The seat sensor switch can be inadvertantly activated when the driver exits the vehicle with the ignition switch in the "On" or "Run" position, resulting in
the customer being locked out of the vehicle. This can occur when the driver places excessive pressure on the seat cushion perimeter when exiting the
vehicle.
