Water Pump: Service and Repair

1.
Drain cooling system, then remove fan shroud attaching bolts and position shroud over fan.
2.
Remove fan, spacer and shroud.
3.
Remove drive belts, then remove A/C idler pulley bracket.
4.
Remove power steering pump and position aside.
5.
Remove all accessory brackets which attach to water pump, then remove water pump pulley.
6.
Remove lower radiator hose, heater hose and bypass hose from water pump.
7.
Remove water pump to front cover attaching bolts, then remove water pump.
8.
Reverse procedure to install.
