Emissions Recall 91E13 - Exhaust System Catalyst Inspection/Replacement on Certain 49-States 1986/1987/1988 and 1989- Model year Passenger Cars
Equipped with 2.3L and 5.0L engines.
AFFECTED VEHICLES
These vehicles are affected by this recall.
REASON FOR RECALL:
The substrate material in the underbody catalysts on the affected cars may rattle and break up during normal customer usage. If the substrate breaks up,
the exhaust emission levels may exceed Federal standards.
SERVICE ACTION:
Cars returned for service will be inspected and, if necessary, have exhaust system underbody catalysts replaced at no charge.
