Air Injection Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve: Testing and Inspection

The function of each valve can be determined by externally energizing with vacuum sourced and output gauged. (Refer to solenoid vacuum valve, NC).
The resistance of each solenoid should be between 51 and 108 ohms when checked at the coil terminals. If the resistance is not within these values, the
solenoid should be replaced.
NOTE: The valves can be expected to have a very small leakage rate when energized or deenergized. This leakage is not measurable in the field and is
not detrimental to valve function.
