ISSUE:
The 1987 vehicles listed above equipped with 2.3L OHC, 2.5L HSC or 5.0L engines have automatic accessory drive belt tensioners. The
automatic tensioner does not have to be removed to service an accessory drive belt. The automatic accessory drive belt tensioner is a spring
loaded device which sets and maintains the belt tension. The accessory drive belt should not require adjustment for its entire life.
