Cigarette Lighter: Service and Repair

Removal and Installation

1. Remove center A/C-heater instrument panel finish panel.
2. Remove two screws retaining front console finish panel to radio control cover of console panel.
3. Pull front console finish panel up to disengage from three locating clips.
4. Disconnect ash receptacle lamp wiring and socket.
5. Remove cigar lighter knob and element and cigar lighter socket and retainer. Unscrew retainer from socket.
6. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
