Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable. 
2. Remove headlamp switch knob by pulling it off. 
3. Remove lamp switch knob applique by pulling at lefthand end to unsnap it from the finish panel and twist out bulb socket. 
4. Remove two screws retaining lefthand end of finish panel to the instrument panel. 
5. Remove two screws at top of cluster opening retaining finish panel to the instrument panel. 
6. Remove upper steering column cover by pulling up on forward edge to unsnap four snap-in tabs. 
7. Pull lefthand end of finish panel rearward far enough to disconnect two wiring connectors. 
8. Remove two screws retaining switch to center finish panel. 
9. Reverse procedure to install.
