Seat Belt Buckle: Service and Repair
Lap Belt Buckle
Removal
1. Remove front seat and track assembly.
2. Remove front safety belt buckle end anchor bolt from front safety belt buckle end.
3. Remove inboard front safety belt buckle end assembly. On LH side of vehicle, disconnect safety belt buckle switch wiring from floorpan wiring.
Installation
1. Position front safety belt buckle end assembly to front safety belt buckle support. Connect safety belt buckle switch wiring from body main wiring.
2. Install front safety belt buckle end anchor bolt to front safety belt buckle support. Tighten to 30-40 N.m (22-30 lb-ft).
3. Install seat and track assembly.
4. Check restraint system for proper operation.
