Wheel Bearing: Service and Repair
Front

1.

Raise and support front of vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.

2.

Remove grease cap from hub.

3.

Remove brake caliper and suspend from chassis with wire. Do not allow caliper to hang from brake hose.

Remove push clips, if equipped, then remove brake rotor.

5.

Remove hub nut, then remove hub and bearing assembly. If difficulty is encountered, use front hub remover T81P-1104-C or equivalent to remove
hub and bearing assembly.

6.

Reverse procedure to install. A new hub and bearing retaining nut must be installed. Torque hub bearing nut to 236-250 ft lb.
