MKS AWD V6-3.7L (2009)
NOTE: If a new speed control sensor is installed, the Cruise-Control Module (C-CM) automatically configures the speed control sensor. The vertical
and horizontal alignment procedures will need to be carried out to align the sensor.
Speed control sensor or bracket
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the front lower air deflector.
3. Remove the speed control sensor fascia cover by pulling straight forward (early build) or remove the front bumper cover (late build).
Speed control sensor only
4. Remove the 2 nuts, the adjustment screw and the speed control sensor.

To install, tighten the nuts to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Bracket only
5. When replacing the bracket, disconnect the speed control electrical connector.
6. Remove the 3 bolts and the speed control sensor bracket assembly.

To install, tighten the speed control sensor nut to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
Speed control sensor and bracket
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Do not install the speed control sensor fascia cover (early build) or the front bumper cover (late build)
until the alignment procedures are carried out.
