From the scan tool menu select: Program ignition key. Follow the on-screen instructions until the process has been completed and the PATS
Functions screen is available again.

7. Remove the second IA key from the backup transceiver slot and verify the IA key has been programmed by pressing the lock and unlock buttons.

8. NOTE: The ignition must be in the ON mode for the parameters to be reset. The PCM cannot have it parameters reset if the ignition is in the OFF

mode. The ignition must be OFF to program keys and the ignition must be ON to reset parameters.

Turn the ignition to the ON mode.

9. From the scan tool, select: Parameter Reset and follow the on-screen instructions.

10. Disconnect the scan tool.

11. The vehicle should now start with both IA keys and the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter portion of the IA key(s) should function.

12. Verify the operation of each key by placing each key inside the passenger compartment and start the vehicle with the new key(s). Make sure the

rest of the keys are out of the vehicle when verifying each key operation.

13. If it is desired to program additional key(s) (only up to 4 IA keys total can be programmed into the RFA module), refer to Key Programming

Enabling Unlimited Key Mode

NOTE: Vehicles with Integrated Keyhead Transmitters (IKTs) were originally equipped with IKTs manufactured by Huf. Replacement IKTs made by
Strattec will work correctly, but may look and feel different. It is recommended that IKTs be replaced with the same manufacturer's keys. Rotunda will
supply matching keys by the same manufacturer if they are ordered by vehicle.

NOTE: The unlimited key mode is available only on vehicles equipped with Integrated Keyhead Transmitter (IKT) keys. Vehicles equipped with
Intelligent Access (IA) keys do not have this feature.

NOTE: Unlimited key mode is intended for use by those customers who need more than 8 keys for their vehicle.

NOTE: Before programming, the new key(s) must have the correct mechanical cut for the ignition lock cylinder(s).

NOTE: The unlimited key mode is set up by creating a special, unique unlimited transponder security key code and programming this key code into all
of the vehicle keys so they contain the same key code.

1. The customer must choose an 8-digit number (except for 00000000 or 00000001) to be programmed to all of their vehicles keys (or, to all of the

keys they want programmed to one vehicle). All customer vehicles keys (or all keys for one vehicle) need to use the same number. Valid digits are
0-9 and the letters A-F.

2. NOTE: If the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) PID UNL_KEY_ID is not available, unlimited key mode is turned on, and must be turned off before

viewing the stored code. To change the stored code (or to disable the stored code), follow the procedure for disabling the unlimited key mode
below.

Monitor the IPC PID UNL_KEY_ID and compare its value against the code chosen in Step 1. It should not be the same key code.

3. From the scan tool, enter TOOLBOX. Select BODY-SECURITY-PATS Functions and follow the on-screen instructions to ENTER SECURITY
