No

REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. TEST the system for normal operation.

A10 CHECK THE SUNSHADE MOTOR JUMPER HARNESS

-

Using the following table, check the sunshade motor jumper harness for loose pins, an open or a short between sunshade motor C9040, component
side and the sunshade motor jumper harness socket:

-

Is the sunshade motor jumper harness OK?

Yes

GO to A11.

No

REPAIR the sunshade motor jumper harness. INITIALIZE the sunshade motor. REFER to Motor Initialization  See: Programming and Relearning.
TEST the system for normal operation.

A11 CHECK THE SUNSHADE MOTOR FOR CORRECT OPERATION

Disconnect all sunshade motor connector.

-

Check for:
-

corrosion.

-

bent or pushed-out pins.

-

Connect all sunshade motor connector and make sure they seat correctly.

-

Operate the system and verify the concern is still present.

-

Is the concern still present?

Yes

INSTALL a new sunshade motor. REFER to Sunshade Motor  See: Window Shade Motor/Service and Repair/Sunshade Motor. INITIALIZE the roof
opening panel motor. REFER to Motor Initialization  See: Programming and Relearning.
TEST the system for normal operation.

No

The system is operating correctly at this time. Concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. TEST the system for normal operation.
