Washer Pump and Reservoir
Removal and Installation
1. Remove the washer reservoir cap from the washer reservoir.
2. Detach the washer hose from the reservoir neck.
3. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Vehicle Jacking and Lifting.
4. Remove the RH front fender splash shield.
5. Disconnect the washer pump electrical connector, washer fluid level sensor electrical connector.

NOTE: To prevent spilling washer fluid, drain the washer reservoir before removal.
Disconnect the washer pump hoses.
7. Detach the wire harness pin-type retainer from the washer reservoir.
8. Remove the washer reservoir bolt and the 2 washer reservoir nuts.

To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
9. Remove the washer reservoir from the vehicle.
10. NOTICE: Do not operate the washer pump prior to filling the washer reservoir. Failure to follow this instruction may result in
premature washer pump failure.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
