Power Steering Fluid Reservoir
Removal and Installation
NOTICE: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of foreign material or failure of the power
steering components may result.
1. Remove the upper air deflector.
1. Remove the 10 upper air deflector pin-type retainers.
2. Remove the air deflector.
2. Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) element. For additional information, refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.
3. Using a suitable suction device, remove the power steering fluid from the fluid reservoir.
4. Release the clamp and disconnect the power steering fluid cooler-to-power steering fluid reservoir hose.
5. Release the clamp and disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir-to-pump supply hose.
6. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir bolt and reservoir.

To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
