Navigator 4WD V8-5.4L DOHC VIN A (2000)
5. Note: Make sure to tighten the bolts in three stages.
Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.

Stage 1: Tighten to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.).

Stage 2: Tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).

Stage 3: Tighten an additional 60 degrees.
6. Install the front drive axle assembly.
7. Install oil pan drain plug.
8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Fill the engine with oil. Use Super Premium SAE 5W-30 Motor Oil XO-5W30-QSP or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C153-G.
