Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair
Cable
REMOVAL
1. Remove the accelerator control splash shield bolts and remove the splash shield.
2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle lever.

Roll the throttle lever forward.

Slide the accelerator cable end from the throttle lever.
NOTE: For clarity, speed control cable is not shown in this illustration.
3. Depress the tabs and remove the accelerator cable from the accelerator cable bracket.
4. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal and shaft.
