ISSUE:
Dust may gather on the door speakers. This occurs because air flows from outside the door through the speaker grille.
ACTION:
Install new gaskets which restrict air flow around the perimeter of the speakers. Refer to the following procedure for service details.
1.
Remove the front door mounted premium speaker assembly. Refer to the 1991 Town Car Service Manual, Page 35-30-7, for the removal
procedure.
2.
After removing the speaker, remove the speaker gasket, Figure 1.
3.
Clean any remaining gasket material from the gasket edge.
