From backside of panel, straighten twelve (12) retaining tabs on applique (Figure 4).

Four (4) of the applique retainer tabs have one-way push-on retainers. To remove retainers, squeeze the retainers gently as shown while pulling
lightly up on the pliers (Figure 4). Retainer will release when sufficient squeeze force is applied.
NOTE:
SQUEEZE PLIERS JUST ENOUGH TO RELEASE THE RETAINER. EXCESSIVE FORCE WILL DISTORT OR BREAK THE RETAINER.

Remove applique (Figure 5).
