LINCOLN-MERCURY:

ISSUE:
Some vehicles may require a high effort to open the armrest door. This is due to an interference between the armrest door and the door trim panel which
causes its vinyl skin to separate.
ACTION:
Repair loose vinyl skin using Instant Adhesive (E8AZ-19554-A), and eliminate the interference condition. Refer to the following procedure for service
details.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Remove door trim panel. Refer to the appropriate Town Car Service Manual, Section 45-03 for 1990-91 or Section 01-05 for 1992-94 model
years.
2.
Remove three (3) screws holding armrest/door and remove armrest/door (Figure 1).
