ISSUE:
When using the autodimmer feature, the headlamps may not return to high beam after an approaching vehicle passes. This occurs because the
autodimmer module detects an increased amount of light on lightly colored vehicles.
ACTION:
Replace the autodimmer module with a new module (F1VY-13A019-A). It should have date code on the label AFTER 1/25/91 (Date Code:
910125). Refer to the 1991 Lincoln Town Car Shop Manual, Section 32-15, for service details.
