Determine if engine idle is rough or unsatisfactory.
2.
Prior to routine diagnostics, visually inspect the crankcase "T" connector located on the rear of the intake manifold. If the connector is
cracked, disconnect the "T" connector, Figure 1.
3.
Obtain a new service "T" connector (F1AZ-6B899-A). Reattach the adjoining tubes and install connector on rear of the intake manifold.
4.
Start the engine and check for vacuum leaks.
5.
Obtain and install a Ford Authorized Modification Decal, denoting the part change.
