Level Control Solenoid Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

NOTE:  The air spring solenoid valve has a two-stage solenoid pressure relief fitting similar to a radiator cap. A clip is first removed and rotation of the
solenoid out of the spring will release air from the assembly before the solenoid can be removed.

1. Turn air suspension switch OFF.
2. Raise vehicle on a hoist. Suspension must be at full rebound.
3. Remove heat shield if equipped.

4. Disconnect electrical connector and then disconnect air line.
5. Remove solenoid clip.
6. Rotate solenoid counterclockwise to first stop.
