ISSUE:
A "drone" or "boom" noise at idle, when the engine is at normal operating temperature and the transmission is in gear, may be caused by the
current production exhaust tailpipe hangers.

ACTION:
To correct this, install two (2) new design exhaust tailpipe hangers. Refer to the following service procedure.
1.
Remove the existing left hand and right hand production exhaust tailpipe hangers, Figure 12.

Install the new design exhaust tail pipe hangers, Figure 13.
NOTE:
Use new attaching bolts to install the new exhaust tailpipe hangers.
