1.
Raise and support vehicle, then remove speed sensor mounting clip to transmission attaching bolt.
2.
Remove the sensor and driven gear assembly from transmission, Fig. 12.
3.
Disconnect electrical connectors from speed sensor, then speedometer cable by pulling it out of the speed sensor. Do not remove spring retainer
clip with speedometer cable in the sensor.
4.
Remove the driven gear retainer, then driven gear from sensor.
5.
Reverse procedure to install.
