Some vehicles may have the following concerns:
^
Idle dip after a tip-in/tip-out maneuver. Spark knock/detonation on acceleration or light load.
^
These concerns may be caused by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) calibration.
ACTION
Verify the use of 91 octane fuel as recommended in the Owner Guide and by the sticker on the fuel filler door. Reprogram the PCM to the latest
calibration. Refer to the Recalibration Information Chart for correct recalibration information.
Obtain an Authorized Modifications Decal (FPS 8262 - obtainable through DOES II, 25/pkg) and list the date, dealer number, and summary of
modifications performed. Select a prominent place adjacent to the Vehicle Emission Control Information Decal suitable for installing the Authorized
